We enjoyed the presence of the Holy Spirit as Bobbie Smith lead us in some “old” missions hymns. Several inspiring testimonies were given and everyone thanked God for personal blessings. Then Sister Etta Jenkins did a superb job of challenging the church with the Scriptures. Let us give serious consideration and prayer to what God would have us to pledge toward missions in 2007. Our 2007 minimum goal is $5000.
While the adults were encouraging one another in the sanctuary, Pat Goodwin taught the children in their classroom. She reported they had a good time.
To close the service, I asked the adults to pray for one another. Some were anointed with oil. Diane Roland reports that she was healed of her respiratory problem. PRAISE GOD! We also prayed for the PWC children’s ministry and several children who are ill.
Remember our prayer requests and continue to pray one for another. We are erecting gates of prayer around our ministries.
