The Possibility God

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm 1:1-3 (KJV)

We all have dreams, ambitions, goals, plans and things that we would want to do and accomplish in this life. We also hope in that eternal life that Christ promised we would inherit. We serve the God of possibilities!

We want to do great things for God but life gets in the way. We fail to look past the current barriers and get a glimpse of God’s possibilities. Doubts, fears, discouragement, frustration, and unbelief battle our faith. In many cases, we begin to verbalize our doubts, fears, discouragement, frustration, and unbelief. By confessing those obstructions, you and I give them the power to control our lives and purpose. In effect, we make them bigger than God.

Here is the challenge for those who desire to serve the God of possibilities. We can either live in the doubts and fears of a faithless heart, or we can step forward in faith, trusting in God’s promises. If we live in doubt and fear, we will never achieve God’s best in our lives. If we step forward in faith, we will always achieve great and mighty things for God’s glory!

It’s time that God’s people walk by faith and live in the realm of God’s possibilities. God desires for us all to give him glory in all that we do. He wants us to be prosperous in all we do.

Read today’s passage again. Consider its conditions and promise. Decide to let the God of possibilities plant you by His river.

Dear Father, thank you for your promise to prosper all that we do. Empower us with active faith. This I pray in the name of Jesus. AMEN

Be encouraged today as you trust the God of possibilities,
