The Peace of God

Now at the end of November, we are embarking on the
adventure of Christmas . . . the season of peace. Nothing and no one says it
better than the Holy Scriptures themselves.

“The Lord of peace himself give you peace always by
all means. The Lord be with you all.”
2 Thessalonians 3:16

“Peace,
from him which is, and which was, and which is to come.” Revelations 1:4

“The
peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

“Jesus
himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.”
Luke
24:36

“Peace
I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I
unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

“The
fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace. Galatians 5:22

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
(Luke 2:14 KJV)

Dear Father, thank you for the peace you give through Jesus Christ our Lord
and Savior. Empower us to enjoy your peace today and every day. I pray this in
the name of Jesus. AMEN

Be strong and courageous
today basking in the peace of God,
