The Love of God

” . . . that
you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the
saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of
Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of
God.” (Ephesians 3:17-19 NKJ)
It’s
important!
“But woe to you
Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass by
justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without leaving the
others undone.” (Luke 11:42 NKJ)
Christ knows whether we have it or not!
“But I know
you, that you do not have the love of God in you.” (John 5:42 NKJ)
It’s
the source of hope!
“Now hope does
not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by
the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Romans 5:5 NKJ)
It’s
Rich in Mercy and Grace!
“But God, who
is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when
we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you
have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the
heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the
exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”
(Ephesians 2:4-7 NKJ)
And
Don’t Forget: It’s why Christ died for us!
“For God so
loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 NKJ)
Dear Father, may
“the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and (your love), and the communion of
the Holy Spirit be with (us) all” (adapted from 2 Cor. 13:14). I pray this
in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Be filled with the Love of God today,
