All who desire new spirit and life,
Stop your toil of trouble and strife.
Surrender your heart, surrender your soul,
From your heart your burdens will roll.
Receive the Savior, our Lord, our Light,
O what rejoicing and happy delight!
His mercy and grace you will enjoy,
When from your heart, your faith you employ.
A shout of cheer and glad refrain,
O what rejoicing! The joy remains!
Rejoice in him, honor his name,
Jesus Christ of Calvary fame.
Dear Father, thank you for the sacrifice you made on Calvary for our salvation. Empower every person who reads these words to exercise their faith in Christ, the Savior and Lord. This I pray in the name of Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. AMEN
