The Household of Faith

Good morning Friends,
Thank you for your kindness to me. Please forgive me for being off-line this week.
Pastor Smith

“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:19-22 (KJV)

Some time in the past, we were . . . well we all know what we were: without Christ, aliens from God’s people, unfamiliar with the promise of God, without hope, God was not a part our lives. Thank God, Calvary covers it all! The blood of Christ has brought us into the presence of God.

It is Christ’s sacrifice that destroyed the barrier of separation between us and God. He is our peace treaty! No more enmity toward God. Now we are new in him and have peace.

Makes us want to shout hallelujah! We are so thankful for his grace and mercy! Oh, the joy of reconciliation and peace! Oh, the comfort of knowing that we have access to God by the Spirit through Christ.

Now we are members of the faith family. The family of God. Not strangers! Not foreigners! We are citizens in the Kingdom of God! Members of God’s house!
Go ahead, let it out. Shout glory to his holy name! Thank you Jesus!

Dear Father, thank you for all the marvelous blessings you bestow upon us. You are worthy of the all praise and all the glory. We honor you today. May we continually honor you with our lives. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen

Let us praise God for his work on Calvary and live to his glory,
