Sunday Worship (Jan. 20, 2008)

Despite the freezing temperature, we had a good attendance in both morning and evening services. We certainly enjoyed a marvelous visit of the Holy Spirit. The praise team did a superb job of leading us into his presence.

Bishop and Mrs. Wayne Craig were our guests and he preached two dynamic sermons. In the a.m. service, we were challenged with Matthew 10:22, “but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” Bishop Craig exhorted us to not allow anything (attitudes, physical circumstances, worldly events, etc) to hinder us from enduring to the end of the faith walk.

In the p.m. service, we sang old hymns and then some worship choruses. The Holy Spirit was mighty in presence and some came to the altar for prayer during this time. Then Bishop Craig challenged us with 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “ye are not your own for you are bought with a price.” He exhorted us to remember that we are God’s and as such, we are neither forgotton nor abandon. God will achieve in us and through us everything he has promised. The battle is not our’s. The battle is God’s and he will fight it for us and be victorious!

Wonderful worship and testimonies afterwards.

Praise God for his encouragement.
