“For the LORD your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you.” Deuteronomy 23:14 (NIV)
During WWII, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill said to a graduating class, “Never give in . . . never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force . . . never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”
This is powerful counsel for us! Let us apply it in every area of our lives. No matter the personal circumstances we are facing today, do not allow them to overwhelm you. If possible, our adversary will use them to discourage or defeat us. Refuse to allow it!
Remember, God is in your camp! God is your protector! God is your deliverer!
The songwriter wrote these words, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in his wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of his glory and grace.” In his face we see victory! In his face we see encouragement! Look in his face and never, never, never, never, never give up.
Dear Father, thank you for being in our camp. Empower us with courage to keep going forward today. Give us spiritual fortitude to endure. This I pray in Jesus’ name. AMEN
Be encouraged today with God’s protection and deliverance,
