“And such trust we have through Christ to God-ward: not that we are sufficient of ourselves to
think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God” (2
Corinthians 3:4-5 KJV)
Here we sit, this
week begun
week begun
thinking about this
race to run,
hoping no one will
see
how weak we feel
and desperate are
we.
Sitting here, in
God’s grace
God’s grace
strength and victory
do us embrace,
knowing our weak
state
is perfected by his
strength,
for that
sufficiency we will wait.
And here it is that
God will come
God will come
completing the work
he has begun,
enabling us in this
race we run
transforming us by
his glory and grace.
when we behold his
glorious face.
There is enough
grace for us today. Each of us has something we can give. We are here according
to God’s plan. No one can take our place. No one will fulfill our purpose in
his plan.
Whatever this day
holds, whatever this week may bring, however this month or year may unfold
allow God’s love to rule your heart. His grace is sufficient for every need!

Let the Holy Spirit
transform you by the glory of the one who saved you by his mercy and grace.

Dear Father, thank
you for your grace. Empower us to remember it when we are weak and enable us to
rest in your strength. This I pray in the name of Jesus. AMEN
