“As each part does its own special work” is an essential element of personal growth and church growth. Doing our part is about relationship and relationship is about influence. An influential relationship directed by Jesus Christ will cause growth in those who are influenced. It is true that “No one can influence everyone, But everyone can influence someone.” It is those influenced someones who make up “the healthy, growing whole body.”
Dear Father, thank you for the Godly influence of parents and others. Empower me with a Christ-directed influence so that I may influence others for you. In Jesus’ name. AMEN
