Glorious Sunday Services

Our Sunday worship began as the praise and worship team marched into the sanctuary singing “Let Your Glory Fill This House.” As they continued walking about the sanctuary singing, other worshippers arose and began moving about and praising God. The praise and worship team assembled at the front of the congregation continuing singing in worship. The presence of the Lord was mighty among us. He continued blessing across the congregation throughout the remainder of this service. Later, while singing the chorus of “When the Saints go Marching In,” a teen member of the praise and worship team stepped down from the stage and began walking up and down the center aisle. (She later reported that she saw Jesus sitting on the podium enjoying the service.) This act seemed to have been the key to this service. Others joined her, people went to others and prayed for them, some knelt in the altar, and finally a victory march ensued. It was glorious to experience and behold! During this time a young lady was sanctified and filled with the Holy Spirit at her seat, and elderly brother testified to being filled also. Others testified to healing and spiritual refreshing.

The sermon was about how we must change or die. We all acknowledged that we did not want to die.

We could feel the presence of God as the evening service began. Everyone joined in and worshipped in spirit and truth. Between the praise time and the sermon (a youth of our church was scheduled to preach), the pastor gave an opportunity for testimonies. The young lady who received the Holy Spirit this morning told of her experience. When she was finished the pastor asked if she wanted to join the church. She said “yes”. He also asked another young convert if she would also like to join the church. She said “yes.” Both young ladies have been raised in the church at Saks. The pastor administered the membership covenant and the church gave them the right hand of fellowship. This all occured because Pastor Smith submitted to the Lord who spoke to him and said, “do it now.”

We give the Lord all the glory, great things he hath done! We are certain that God is visiting the Prasie and Worship Center and we do not want him to leave.
