Courage

“Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
St. John 16:33 (NLT)

Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a Christian is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian.

Let us not be so naïve and immature, but let us also be encouraged because Jesus has confirmed that he has conquered the world. Our victory is in him alone. That enables us to persevere to the end.

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8;31 (KJV)

Dear Father, thank you for your grace and mercy. Without the conquering sacrifice of Calvary, we would be eternally lost. Thank you for including us in your family. Deliver us from the temptations and trials of this life and empower us with your conquering victory. In Jesus’ name. AMEN

Let us praise God for Calvary and live to glorify Christ,
