And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, “Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.” Numbers 6:22-27 (KJV)
One who pronounces blessings upon others at every opportunity because they are God’s handiwork, offers a higher praise to God than mere songs or shouts can give.
God gives us opportunities along with the ways and means; then allows us to give the blessing.
Let us bless and be a blessing to others. Be prepared to do it, gather faith, optimism, compassion, and generosity. Pray that God will provide opportunities to bless others.
Don’t economize in blessings; never be stingy but increase your generosity the more as God gives you opportunity.
The more we bless others the more we resemble our Savior who blessed us with the greatest blessing of eternal life.
May the Lord bless you today! May he let his smile fall on you and your needs. May God be gracious to you and multiply his grace of sufficiency toward you. May he give you peace and joy. May he place his name upon you.
Dear Father, we thank you for the blessings of your grace and mercy. May your blessings fall on us all to day. This I pray in Jesus’ name. AMEN
