“To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. Think about the mystery that God has chosen to reveal to us. This mystery is that Christ lives in us and is our hope of glory. What a miracle! Who would have ever thought that the Creator of the universe would impart salvation to us and live his life in us?
The hope of glory! WOW! No more bound by the power of sin. No more under the slavery of death. O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? We have the hope of glory in us! Hallelujah!
Is it any wonder that we rejoice? Is it any wonder that we want everybody to have it? The wisdom of the ages is summarized in Jesus Christ who causes us to pass from death unto life. This is the purpose of our labor. This is the energy that empowers us. It is the power which works in us. He is worthy of all the glory and honor and praises . . . he alone.
Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of your mystery. Thank you for the hope of glory we have through Jesus Christ. Empower us to be faithful everyday. In Jesus’ name. AMEN
