Being Transformed

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”
2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (NAS)

What a wonderful transformation has taken place in me since Jesus came into my life! It is because of his amazing grace. If you had only known me prior to the change, you would certainly agree that a transformation was begun. Now, I do not claim that it is a finished work. Certainly not! Rather, I am continuing to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. My desire is to be transformed completely to the image of the Son of God.

Take just a moment and consider where you would be without him. What would your life probably be like if Jesus had not arrested you for his purposes? Are you glad you have had your own Damascus Road experience? I am so grateful that he stopped me in my tracks and let the marvelous light of his grace shine on me. Glory to his name for ever!

Dear Father, I am so grateful that you loved me when I was so un-loveable. Thank you for sending Jesus to save me while I was still in my sins. Empower me and all those who read these words with the faith and fortitude to bring glory always to your name. In the name of Jesus, I pray. AMEN

Be encouraged today in the transforming grace of Jesus Christ,
