The Walk With God

“If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; ” (Lev. 26:3 KJV)
“And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you. And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people. I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.” (Lev. 26:11-13 KJV)

There are always consequences to our choices. In today’s passage, God offers his people a choice: IF they will “walk” in obedience to his laws and commands, then He promises to live with them, “walk” with them, and be their God.

He is the One who delivered us from sin’s slavery. He’s the One who removed our yoke and enabled us to “walk” as free people. When we have been set free, why not walk with the One who has set us free? Walking with him will always bring us to the promised land. An unknown author wrote, “When we walk with God, we will always reach our destination.”

Dear Father, thank you for inviting us to walk with you. Empower us to never stop walking with you. This I pray in the name of Jesus. AMEN

Be encouraged today your walk with God,
