Today. What a great
day! It is a day of praise, but not merely a day of feeling good or affirming a
positive thoughts. What a day to bless the Lord! Every day is a good day – rain
or shine, cold or warm, stormy or fair – to adjust our attitudes and note how
good God is. Let us enthusiastically rejoice in Christ today!

Praise isn’t merely
for those circumstances when all is right in our world. Rather, we affirm his
presence and control even when difficulties and storms of life arise. In fact,
those times are when we need his presence the most. And since he is enthroned
in our lives through our praise and worship (Psalm 22:3), we praise him today
and every day, no matter what is happening.

I affirm the old
hymn, I Am Blessed! “Every day that
I live I am blessed. When I wake up in the morning til I lay my head to rest, I
am blessed, I am blessed.” Yet, I must also affirm that I praise God, not
because of my blessings received from him, but rather because of the blessing
of who he is. I am blessed that he is God!

honor and praises. Remind yourself to praise him from sunrise to bedtime. Why?
